How can I backup my VM?
We recommend that you keep your source code in a git repository which is stored independent of the VM, so that if your VM was compromised or corrupted you could rebuild your application from the git repository. You will also find git convenient for managing multiple version of your work.
A self-service git repository is available for Duke students, faculty, and staff use at https://gitlab.oit.duke.edu/.
The git repository at git.oit.duke.edu is backed up daily.
